Anyone who knows my father-in-law, Dennis, knows that he LOVES to wear a flat cap on nice occasions. So. . . it only makes sense that Patton has a flat cap too, right?! Can't you see the family resemblance? :) And his cap makes me want to break out into a Newsies song! "Open the gates and seize the day, Don't be afraid and don't delay. . ." I'll spare you the rest of the song. Haha! For the 4th of July this year, we headed down to San Diego to enjoy the beautiful weather and awesome company. We spent the weekend eating lots of yummy foods, going to the Mormon Battalion Exhibit, watching the fireworks (which Patton slept through), swimming in the pool, and just hanging out. It was a good weekend, but we were too lazy to take any pics, so this is all I have of that weekend.
