Happy Easter. . . a week late! I hope that everyone had as good of an Easter as we did! We headed to San Diego and hung out with my sister Em, her hubbie Matt, and lil Luke. We had a BLAST!
We were pretty nervous on how Luke would do with Patton, but the two of them seemed to get along pretty well. Luke would grab Patton's gym and shake it to death, but Patton seemed to enjoy being shaken around. Haha! BTW- thanks for letting me steal this (and a few more pics) off your blog Em. Heheh!
Luke would get so excited to find an egg that he'd immediately open it and eat it. Who cares about the rest of the eggs when he's enjoying the one he has now! Haha!
That evening, the 4 of us (plus 2 babies) went to this all natural restaurant where everything is locally grown. Since we were in San Diego, there was lots of fish on the menu. Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE fish! *bleh* I ordered the burger (the only non-fishy item on the menu) and it was pretty good. Matt and Em got some kind of sea urchin soup (I had a sip and it was actually pretty decent). Then I tried some of Matt's halibut. Everyone was anxious to hear what my thoughts were about the fish, and my verdict was, "It's not bad." I think I just have to eat EXTREMELY fresh fish. . . I hate a fishy taste! That night, we all went down to the beach and walked along the boardwalk. Sam and I were stealing smooches while Patton slept his lil heart away. It was just so beautiful. I seriously wish we could live there one day. *sigh* Sam just needs to work harder! Haha! j/k! Well, we had an enjoyable time in San Diego! We hope to make many more trips down there!
