The Biggest Procrastinators in the World

Ok...so Sam and I are the BIGGEST procrastinators when it comes to doing things that we don't want to do. Our doctor told us back in February to get some blood work done. Sam and I FINALLY went and did our blood work on....ummm....Wednesday, 2 months later. There's a good reason for that too. Sam did his 4 viles with no problems at all. My doctor told me that I was only going to have to do 4 viles.....WRONG!! They actually needed 6 viles! Let's just say it was quite a tramatic experience for both myself and the person taking my blood. I looked like I was a wounded soldier with the bandages all over anywhere that she attempted to take my blood. Next time, I think I'll hire somebody to give me their blood. Hahah!

I felt like I was on a roll this week with accomplishing things that I've been procrastinating all year long. Currently, I do not have my clear California teaching credential because I have an out of state credential. I've been trying to take classes to clear my CA credential and I only needed 1 more class. Except, my school district had no clue what the class was that I needed. After MONTHS AND MONTHS of procrastinating, I finally called one of the colleges around here. The credentialing analyst contacted the State of CA's credentialing department and we found out that I don't have to take that class!! Because I've already taken some of the other required classes, they're going to waive my last class!! WOOHOO!! So now I have to pay some money and my credential will come in 6 months! YEAH! Mission accomplished.

Maybe this is a new start on life, with no more procrastinating. I think I'll start tomorrow!! :)!

I can relate to procrastinating things you don't want to do. They say if it wasn't for the last minute, some things would never get done. :) I really like how you ended the post, too - very funny!!

Procrastination is a fine art, whose execution often takes years of honing to perfection.

Found your blog off of Keri's - and I was so excited!! If you haven't seen ours (really Steph's), it's simplyradiant.blogspot.com. Plenty of cute baby pictures for you.

Glad to catch up with you via blog!

Hey Marcie!
That's awesome that you'll have your credential soon! I love it when I finally get around to something and then it turns out to be much easier than I thought, or I don't have as much work to do as I thought....I'm sure that all the built up work in my head causes the procrastination! Congratulations on getting that done!
